DANDRUFF:
Because dogs get greasy and need bathing on a regular basis, they accumulate dead, dirty, flaky skin when this is not done often enough.  I can assure you that your dog doesn't have "dry skin".  Its just the opposite.  The grease has built up too long and needs removed.

We use the right shampoo and products as well as a good blow-dry to removed the unsightly flakes.  We make the skin "breathe" again and separate each individual hair shaft.  Greasy, waxy yellowish colored flakes that stick to the hairs are smelly and unsanitary and that dog needs a dietary change as well as baths every 2 weeks (even every week until it clears up)

SMELLY, DIRTY COAT:
Dogs love to look and smell good.   It puts a little "prance" in their step.  If you have never had your dog professionally groomed, you will be amazed at the difference in how your pet smells, looks and behaves afterward.  Imagine having a fresh, luxuriously soft  and pleasingly fragrant dog snuggled up at your side.  Your friends will be impressed next time they drop by.  After all, your pet is a reflection of you!

EYE & EAR OOZE:
Both eye discharge and ear wax can make a dog dirty.  We can take care of both for you and also give you advice on how to treat both conditions between grooms.

MATS AND DREADLOCKS:
Dogs are greasy AND they shed.  (YES, even non-shedding poodles and yorkies lose some hair)  The combination of the 2 works together to create tangles, dreadlocks and mats, which eventually evolve into pelts if not tended to in a timely manner.  By giving your dog a thorough bath to remove the excess grease and blow out the loose or shedding hair, these problems can be totally eliminated.

When the mats are too bad and cover a large percentage of the body, your dog is then considered "pelted".  Pelted dogs have no other option than a total shave-down.  Once it grows back, it can remain beautiful as long as regular grooming appointments are maintained.  Life is so much better for a dogs when it doesn't have tight mats pulling at its skin.

ICKY POO UNDER THE TAIL:  Fecal matter under the tail makes the dog smelly and unsanitary.  A professional groom can clean up the mess and give the dog a sanitary clip to help prevent accumulation in the weeks that follow.  For male dogs, a belly shave will also help keep the dog much cleaner.

LICKY, SALIVA SKIN:  Dogs who itch alot also lick alot.  Their skin needs washed from all that saliva.
MY DOG "USED TO HAVE" DANDRUFF, FLEAS, MATS, HOT SPOTS AND SHEDDING BUT SINCE HE WAS PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED AT BARKING BEAUTIES HE'S A TOTALLY DIFFERENT DOG.
