Did you see yours
on this list?

Don't let this happen to your dog.  And if it is, STOP it now!!!

Contains both "Animal Fat" and "Animal Digest"-both obtained from unnameable meat sources.  Corn & Soybean meal are top 2 ingredients.  Also contains "beef and bone meal", artificial colors and artificial preservatives.

In my opinion, this stuff is just awful.  Contains "animal digest" - which AAFCO defines as "a material which results from chemical and/or enzymatic hydrolysis of clean & un-decomposed animal tissue." This can be roadkill and rotting cow carcasses left on the rendering plant trucks.  Major proteins are corn and chicken-by-product meal.  Also contains 2 sources of sugar (9th & 10th on ingredient list) and artificial colors.

Low quality protein sources (corn, meat & bone meal, chicken-by-product meal, corn gluten meal abound in this product.  They are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th ingredients in the food.  Fat source is artificially preserved animal fat.

Where should I start?  At the beginning: First ingredient is corn.  Next is meat and bone meal, a very low quality protein source.  Then, corn gluten meal, a fragment.   Then chicken by-product meal, artificially preserved animal fat, wheat mill run (a wheat by-product).
Just a bunch of low-cost ingredients

Incredibly CHEAP dog food made of cheap ingredients.  Corn leads the list of ingredients followed by mean & bone meal, soybean meal, chicken by-product meal, wheat millings and animal fat (artificially preserved, of course)  You get what you pay for...AND MORE... vet bills.

Ingredient list speaks for itself:  Corn, poultry-by-product mean, corn gluten meal, animal fat, brewers rice....all CHEAP ingredients.  Also contains "Animal digest" and artificial colors.

Chicken, that's 1st but then we have brewer's rice, whole grain WHEAT, poultry by-product meal, corn gluten meal, beef tallow, whole grain corn & corn bran for those nice yellow squishy poops.

Chicken, corn meal, ground whole grain sorghum, chicken by-product meal, whole grain ground barley meal, fish meal, chicken fat, dried beet pulp.  (Not much in the way of real meat here, is there?)

Chicken meal, wheat flour, ground whole wheat, rice bran, poultry fat, corn gluten meal, ground rice, lamb meal.  A lot of grains ....sounds like food for pigeons, not dogs.

Not a terrible food, but terribly expensive for the low quality that's in the bag.  Lots of advertising makes the price higher.
Chicken, chicken by-product meal, corn meal, ground whole grain sorghum, whole ground barley, chicken fat, fish meal, brewers rice.

Isn't this supposed to be one of the best?  Recommended by many vets?  Which SUPER ingredient makes it better than any of the other foods listed?  Chicken, corn meal, ground grain sorghum, ground wheat, chicken by-product meal, brewers rice, soybean meal, animal fat (preserved with BHA, propyl gallate & citric acid)  Appears to be very similar to the others but with a high price tag.

Chicken, brewers rice (this is not like the rice you have on your dinner plate.  It is a waste product of the alcohol industry), whole grain corn, corn gluten meal, poultry by-product meal, whole grain wheat, beef tallow preserved with mixed tocopherols and natural flavor.

Very cheap sources of protein...beef and bone meal, soybean meal, digest of chicken by-products, chicken by-product meal, chicory and brewers rice.

Ground yellow corn, corn gluten feed, meat and bone meal, soybean meal.  I might feed this to the pigeons, not dogs

This company is primarily a producer of cheap cattle feed.  Hence its all grain, no meat except mean & bone meal, which is equivalent to crematory bones and ashes.

Starts out with chicken & chicken meal as the 1st 2 ingredients....but then it rapidly goes downhill from there.  Brewers Rice, Corn meal, soybean meal, Animal Fat (Animal?  what type of animal?  If it were Beef fat, it would say that!) Corn Gluten meal, Brown rice, Oatmeal, Dried Beet Pulp.  Its not the worst food out there, but its certainly not a 5 or 6 star food.  I feel there are too many cheap filler ingredients that eventually will cause skin problems.

We are unknowingly causing our dogs to be sick and need uneccesary vet visits.  If your dog eats this food and has a great coat and no body odor and no ear problems, you have a very lucky dog.  OR it just hasn't built up long enough in your dog's body.  SOME dogs can actually live and thrive on what I call pigeon feed, but most dogs can't take it more than 2 years before showing symptoms.  Then you have to STOP FEEDING THE PROBLEM!
